Elm Grove Primary School is an inclusive, friendly, happy and successful school that sets out to make learning fun, active and challenging for its pupils. We are always seeking ways to learn and improve the standards of educational provision we offer our pupils. Our school is unique in its composition and design, and we put children at the very centre of all we do. We are never complacent and are always seeking ways to learn and improve the standards of educational provision we offer our pupils. We actively encourage all to learn, reflect and question, within a learning environment that is calm and well structured, where pupils feel safe, confident and happy.
Thank you to all those who joined us for our Harvest Festival at St John's Church. It was a lovely celebration and year 3 did a superb job leading it.
We will be opening our doors on Wednesday 18th November (any time between 10.15am and 11.30am) and Thursday 19th November (any time between 1.15pm and 2.15pm). You do not need to book, just turn up. We look forward to meeting you and showing you around our school. More information about starting school can be found under 'News and Resources'.
Don't forget, half-term is coming up : Monday 26th October 2015 - Friday 30th October 2015. School will re-open at 8.45am on Monday 2nd November 2015.
Please note that after half-term the school gates will not open until 8.45am. Children in years 3 and 4 will be able to walk into school by themselves from the school gates but must still be collected from the playground. Many thanks.
Head Teacher Message : Welcome to Elm Grove Primary School
Hello, my name is Mrs Udell and it is with great pleasure that I am able to welcome you to our website. This is an exciting time for us all here at Elm Grove as we begin our journey from a First School to a Primary School.
I am delighted to be the Head Teacher of Elm Grove Primary School. I am very proud of the work that the school does and the children, staff, governors and parents that make up our community. Children at Elm Grove Primary School are lucky to attend such a fabulous school. We believe we help our children to become confident and independent individuals.
Please take some time to have a look around our website using the drop down tools across the top of the page. You will find information about what we have to offer and the wonderful things that happen and take place on a daily basis. If you have any questions then please contact us.
I hope you enjoy looking around and I look forward to the possibility of welcoming you into our school one day.
Mrs L Udell
